QR Codes

Every link you create gets a QR code automatically. Scans are tracked server-side just like clicks.

How to generate a QR code

  1. Open any link in your dashboard.
  2. Click the QR Code tab or the QR icon next to the link.
  3. Your QR code is generated instantly.
  4. Download as PNG (all plans) or SVG (Pro+) for print-ready quality.

How to customize your QR code (Pro+)

  • Change foreground and background colors to match your brand
  • Add a logo or icon in the center of the QR code
  • Adjust corner style (rounded vs. square) and pattern shape
  • Set margin/quiet zone size for print compliance

How QR codes update automatically

If you change the destination URL of a link, its QR code automatically points to the new destination. No reprint needed. Print QR codes early — before your destination URL is finalized — and update the link later without touching the printed material.

Frequently asked questions

Do QR code scans count as clicks in my analytics?

Yes. Every scan is counted and appears in your link analytics the same way a regular click does.

What format should I download for print?

SVG (Pro+) for anything printed at large sizes — banners, posters, packaging. SVG scales without losing quality. PNG is sufficient for digital use and small prints.

Can I update a QR code after printing it?

Yes. Change the destination URL of the link. The QR code automatically points to the new destination. No reprint needed.

What happens to a QR code if I delete the link?

Scanning the QR code will return a 404. Do not delete links with QR codes in active use. Use the expiry date or deactivate the link instead.
