Terms of Service

1. Definitions

“Service” means the HikrLink platform at hikrl.ink, including URL shortening, bio pages, QR code generation, link analytics, and related features.

“User” means any individual or entity that registers for or uses the Service.

“Content” means any URLs, text, images, or data you submit to the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use HikrLink.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use HikrLink to:

• Shorten, redirect, or distribute links to malware, phishing sites, or fraudulent content
• Distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive links
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of any third party
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

4. Service Plans and Billing

HikrLink offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.

Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles invoicing, sales tax, and payment processing on our behalf. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms.

Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@hikrl.ink within 14 days of the charge.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of HikrLink is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect click analytics data (IP addresses, referrers, device types, geolocation) on links you create. This data is used to provide analytics features to you and is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

HikrLink and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bouletteproof Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of Content you submit but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bouletteproof Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bouletteproof Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
