Analytics

Clicks are counted server-side at redirect time — before the visitor's browser loads. Ad blockers cannot interfere.

How to view analytics for a link

  1. Click on any link title in your dashboard.
  2. Select the Analytics tab.
  3. Use the date-range picker to filter by period (7 days, 30 days, custom).
  4. Export data as CSV for reporting (Pro+).

What HikrLink analytics do not currently include

HikrLink's analytics are click-count focused. Real-time per-link source attribution without UTM parameters, conversion tracking without sGTM, and audience demographic data are not currently available. For full conversion attribution, combine HikrLink with UTM parameters and Google Analytics 4. sGTM integration (Business) enables server-to-server forwarding to Meta CAPI and Google Enhanced Conversions.

Why ad blockers do not affect HikrLink click counts

Most analytics tools run in the visitor's browser — a JavaScript pixel fires when the page loads. Ad blockers and Apple's Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) block these browser-level scripts. HikrLink counts clicks at redirect time on the server, before the browser is involved. There is nothing for an ad blocker to intercept.

Frequently asked questions

Why does HikrLink show more clicks than Google Analytics?

GA4 counts when its JavaScript tag fires in the browser. Ad blockers, Safari ITP, and slow page loads prevent that tag from firing. HikrLink counts server-side before the browser loads, so it captures clicks that browser-based tools miss.

How many clicks can I track on the free plan?

Up to 5,000 tracked clicks per month on Starter.

Does redirect latency affect user experience?

Median redirect latency is under 80ms. The edge proxy adds less than 5ms. This is imperceptible to users.

Can I export analytics data?

Yes, on Pro+. Go to the Analytics tab for any link and click Export CSV.
